clubhouse chat: follow through
it is monday, and the list from last night is already working the room. a freshman has hers taped to the mini fridge, a new parent is reading his off the coffee maker between bottle feeds, and somebody thirty years into the same kitchen still writes hers on the back of a receipt. last monday we put manifesting on academic probation. last night you wrote the three line game plan. today the club teaches the two words that carry it all week. read to the end: your monday move takes ninety seconds and it already knows your address.
the glow file
how do you actually stick to a workout plan? you stop writing goals and start writing directions. in a british health psychology study, people who wrote down exactly when and where they would exercise showed up 91 percent of the time. the motivation only group managed about 35. the trick has a name, the if then plan, and a meta analysis of 94 studies found the average planner outperforming roughly three quarters of the goal only crowd. the mechanism is the grown up part: the cue does the remembering, so the plan fires whether or not you feel like the person who wrote it. willpower gets the day off. speaking of showing up, houston just did, at scale.
the piggy bank
two anonymous donors just handed the houston youth symphony one point two million dollars. one million anchors the organization for the long haul, and two hundred thousand goes to the coda program, free after school music lessons for kids whose families could not otherwise swing it. the symphony turns eighty this year and already keeps more than one hundred young musicians on financial aid, from seven year olds on quarter size violins to seniors auditioning for conservatories. somebody planned past their own lifetime. the kindness beat keeps rolling north, too.

the internet's favorite good deed machine is a minnesota kid. jimmy darts started filming random acts of kindness in walker, on the shores of leech lake, and 28 million people now follow along while he raises millions for strangers. gen z found him on tiktok, millennials keep funding the gofundmes, and half the fun is watching a grandparent in the comments recognize the town. follow through, it turns out, is contagious. so is this next part, planet edition.
the sunshine page
two wins from this week's good news wires: beach litter from plastic carrier bags in the uk is down 80 percent since the bag charge came in, per the marine conservation society. and iceland is officially reviewing its commercial whaling license, a move that could spare around 80 fin whales a season. boring policy, kept promises, visible results. something to wear while you keep yours:
the dress code
daily fit: the base leggings in midnight black, eighty five dollars. the product page calls them your foundation, elevated, which is exactly the monday assignment. xs through m in stock. seen on: milan opened spring 2027 this week with prada first on the calendar, and the street style translation is one strong foundation piece doing all the lifting. save up: the friday studio leggings in daisy yellow, ninety dollars, the loud pair you promote yourself into by friday. one more line before you lace up.
the passed note
take sunday's three line game plan and give every line a when. if it is 7 am, the anchor workout starts. if it is lunch, you text the people plan. if the lamp clicks off, that is lights out. and dead hang week, day five: thirty seconds on the bar today, report card thursday. a goal is a wish with no address. give it one.
send this to a friend. that's how the club grows.
health is hot.
